Andrea Grano
My name is Andrea Grano, I’m 25 years old and live in Lipari, the largest of the seven Aeolian Islands. I wasn’t born as a photographer, but I discovered a passion. Unfortunately you can’t keep any emotion or moment in life, only memories, from which nothing concrete remains. For me, photography is the best option to capture all this and a photo can evoke emotions in the eyes of the observer.

I bought a small compact camera, which I always carried with me at every opportunity and on every day, always ready to capture a moment… My passion developed subsequently in landscape photography, when I realized that my camera had many limitations and could not capture the moments in the same way as I saw them myself. I therefore experienced greater freedom when I bought my first SLR camera which allowed me to capture the moments as I had experienced, seen and heard them myself… My first photos were picked up by the Facebook page “Social Oil” and I still post exclusive pictures of “my Aeolian Islands” on that page.
